NCCAR Encouraged by Canada's Air Transport Agreement with Kuwait
OTTAWA, May 18, 2007 – The National Council on Canada-Arab Relations (NCCAR) is
encouraged by the government's first air transport agreement with the State of
Kuwait, which creates new opportunities for travelers, air carriers and airports from both countries.
We hope that this is an indication that Canada is intent on pursuing better exchanges with the Arab world,
and will seek to establish further economic, educational and cultural ties with states in the region,” said
NCCAR President, Bahija Réghaï.
This agreement helps develop Canada's trade ties with countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) which
include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain.
