Support the project AMP-Commerce Solidaire

Buy Palestinian Olive Oil, zeitouna. More than a symbol, the culture of the olive tree is the most important of all agricultural productions in Palestine. That accounts for 25% of the value of agricultural production. Since the second Intifada, the degradation of the Palestinian economy has forced thousands of families to depend on this single source of income for their survival. Initiated in 2005, this social economy project, Zeitouna, aims at marketing in Quebec and in Canada Palestinian extra-virgin Olive Oil. Through this project, MAP wants to support the Palestinian farmers from the economic and social points of view thus giving them the opportunity to improve their living conditions. MAP directly imports the Olive Oil from our Palestinian partner PARC. Founded in 1983, this organization, made up of young farmers and agronomists, works in the field of the durable development, the environmental protection and in the improvement of the role and the statute of women farmers. In partnership with more than 100 local co-operatives, PARC (www.parc.ps) profits directly to more than 60,000 Palestinians. Your support is important! By buying a fair-trade and high quality product, you support the Palestinian farmers as well as the projects implemented by MAP in Palestine.
