An important message from The Embassy of Lebanon in Ottawa

The Lebanese embassy would like to inform the Lebanese citizens who left Lebanon during the evacuation organized by the Canadian authorities in July 2007 aggression, and they don't have the exit stamp of the Directorate General Surete General on their passports, that the embassy is unable to renew it prior to obtain the approval of the above motioned Directorate. Since the approval for Lebanese requires a period of two months, the Lebanese embassy wishes on the Lebanese citizens to take this into considerations and give sufficient period when they apply for a passport renewal (at least three months) and this is for their good interest if they are planning to travel to Lebanon during the summer.
